Tasmanian Team announced for 2025 Australian Gymnastics Championships
Gymnastics Tasmania will be sending a team of 65 athletes to the Gold Coast for the 2025 Australian Gymnastics Championships from the 3rd-17th July to compete in a range of both National and International competition across three gymsports – Women’s Artistic, Men's Artistic and Trampoline Gymsports

Senior State Championships
GT Senior State Championships on 17-18th May saw gymnasts from around the state competing to become State Champion in Men’s Artistic Gymnastics, Women’s Artistic Gymnastics and Trampoline Gymnastics. Gymnastics Tasmania also welcomed three interstate clubs from the ACT, NSW and QLD.

Bigham Cup - It's a Tie
On the 6th and 7th September, gymnasts came together from the Australian Capital Territory, Northern Territory, South Australia, Tasmania and Western Australia for an action-packed Bigham Cup. Level 6 and Level 7 WAG gymnasts competed in both Team and Individual events as well as for the prestigious Bigham Cup. For 2024, the overall Bigham Cup proved to be an extremely close contest, ending in a tie shared between the Australia Capital Territory and South Australia! The enthusiastic crowd was entertained as they watched some amazing routines and passes from the gymnasts throughout the two-day event. Friendship, support and camaraderie abounded between the States – officials and gymnasts – and the very supportive crowd! Congratulations to all Teams and Individual gymnasts who competed in this exciting and entertaining event, and especially to those who took away awards.

A Chat with Tristan Styles
The list of Australian gymnasts who can call themselves a World Champion is a very exclusive club. To be a part of that club at just 18 years of age is even more special. Last month, Tasmania's own Tristan Styles competed at the Trampoline Gymnastics World Age Group Championships with the goal of completing two successful passes, and emerged with a Gold Medal and the title of World Champion on Double Mini Trampoline.
